Thai Chicken with Ginger
A quick chicken dish with Thai spice to it.
The ingredients are:
1 cup cut in to strips chicken breast
1 cup cut into strips ginger root
1 chopped white onion
3 chopped green onions
3 chopped dried mushrooms
3 cloves of garlic with 1 teaspoon of black
peppercorns grown in a Thai mortar
2 table spoons fish sauce
2 table spoons Soy Sauce
3 table spoons Canola Oil
5 stocks of Cilantro chopped
Take the chopped ginger and add about 1 table spoon of salt to it. Work this up with your
hands so the salt is work through it good. Do this for about a minute. Then rinse it out
in
a stainer with clean water to get ride of the salt. This will take the hot bite out
of the ginger but will still be have a very good spicy taste to it.

Here to the left is the fish sauce and soy sauce used
in Thai cooking. The fish sauce can be found in any good
Asian store. This soy sauce was bought on line. It is
Soy Sauce with Mushroom by Healthy Boy Brand.

Here to the right is the Garlic and Black Peppercorn's.
They were ground up in this mortar. First to grind the pepper
till it is fine and then add the garlic and mash it all together.
When you put this in hot oil it will smell very very good. Be careful
not to burn it.
