Tom Yum Goong

Thai soup that is easy to make.

 The ingredients for Tom Yum Goong are:

1 stock of Lemon Grass

2 root of Cilantro

4  to 5 chopped Cilantro stocks

3 to 4 slices of Galungal Root

3  Kaffir Lime leafs

1 & 1/2 cups water

 1/2 cup Carnation Evaporated Milk

2 Cloves of Garlic

1  teaspoon Soup Base  

Sliced Mushrooms

3 Table spoons Lime Juice

6 oz S  hrimp

3  table spoons Fish Sauce

Thai Chili to taste very HOT

1/2 Sliced Tomato

1 & 1/2 table Chili Past with Soy  Bean Oil

2 Red Onion

 

Tom Yum Goong ingredient spices

Above are Lemon Grass, Galungal Root, Cilantro roots and one with stock on,

Kaffir Lime leafs and Thai chilies.

Spices used, all can be found in a good Asian Market.

When eating it is best not to try to eat the lemon grass and

Kaffir Lime leafs, they are very tough and only to spice up the soup.

It is very good with rice and some raw vegetables too!
